Activating your subsidy

Q: I have a replacement card, do I need to reactivate my subsidy?

A: If it is just a replacement card then no. Your subsidy is linked to your profile and not to your card. However, if you are having issues using your subsidy, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Q: I received confirmation that my subsidy has been activated but it is still not working?

There could be a few reasons behind this.

1.       Could you be trying to spend your subsidy outside of the permitted time? Some agency subsidies are only available to be used at certain times of the day, please check with your HR what your entitlements are.

2.       That your subsidy was only just activated within a 2 hour period, please advise the team member at the till that your subsidy has only just been activated so that they can update our systems.

Q: I have a temporary pass as I left my ID at home, can I still use my subsidy?

A: Yes, we can search for you through our system however we will require photo I.D to do so. Alternatively, you can pay through your mobile app if you have assigned a valid payment method.

Q: I have downloaded the app and activated my subsidy, but my balance says £0?

A: This is because your subsidy will not reflect as part of your balance, it will only reflect when you are at the tills. The £0 balance refers to the amount of credit that you have loaded onto your card.

 Q: I have downloaded the app but I do not know what my “Identifier” is?

A: This is the 5 digit number on the reverse (the opposite to the picture side) of your ID card. If this does not work, please contact hospitalitysubsidies@teambankside.com
